Why the myCommunity service?

myCommunity CSS Canada is passionate about challenging people to think cohesive community. It collaborates with businesses and professionals, municipal governments and faith institutions to build unity and good will in local communities.

Each of these social organizations has its own sphere of influence. They supplement each other for a cohesive community. Note that:

Businesses & professionals offer goods, services and employment.
Municipal Governments manage planning, public infrastructure and safety.
Faith Institutions gather for worship and practice being neighbours.

Together they serve the needs and wants of the local population and beyond. Uniting these three social organizations under one program makes a powerful statement about community spirit and loyalty among the local residents.

Specifically, the participants join together in recognizing happy milestone events in the lives of residents. This recognition builds value in community in the form of good will and Word of Mouth. People that feel good about their community are more inclined to support it in actions.

OUR SERVICE

On your behalf, we will research the community and identify residents that celebrate a birth, a wedding, a special wedding anniversary or a move into the area. They will be contacted with an invitation to participate in the local Celebrate program. They can respond at their convenience to the customized keepsake offer. Look for the door decal (shown on the left) that identifies the myCommunity participants in your community.
